Camping at Splendour
- There are set limits on the number of vehicles that will be allowed to enter the campgrounds each day. All vehicles will have to obtain a Vehicle Access Pass to enter the property.
- Your camp setup has to be minimal - overly elaborate campsites are not permitted. No couches & large furniture items permitted.
- Campsites are big enough for your tent and a car - we work off a rule of thumb of one car per 3-4 person tent. You can park your car next to your tent. Once parked, your vehicle CANNOT be moved again until you depart the festival. If you need to go into town, please use a shuttle bus.
- No drop-offs of caravans or camper trailers are allowed. We can’t allow anyone inside the campground without a ticket and once inside the campground, cars can’t exit until the festival has ended.
- Campervans up to 7.5m and caravans up to 6m in length are OK. Large motor-homes, RVs, campervans & caravans larger than this will not be allowed as they simply don’t fit onto the campsites.
- If you want to camp alongside friends you must meet up beforehand and arrive together. There is no vehicle waiting area on site.
- Campsites will be allocated by Splendour staff.
- In your camp area there will be two designated marshals who will be available for any questions you have or help you may need.
- Basic warm shower and toilet facilities will be provided.
- Campsites are not powered.
- Glass and camping do not mix.
- Make sure you familiarise yourself with your campsite location by taking note of the nearest 'street' intersection and the features of the surrounding landscape or tents, parked vehicles etc. There is minimal lighting throughout the campground at night and it can be hard to find your campsite in the dark. Be prepared.
- Fires are not allowed in the campground, but we will have supervised communal bonfires at a few locations throughout the campgrounds & event area.
- Please respect the site and your fellow campers. Any unruly behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in your removal from the site.
- Camping areas are designated quiet zones from 10pm onwards.
- Leave valuables at home or lock them in your car. Don’t leave them in or around your tent. Get to know your neighbours. Keep an eye on their tents too and report any suspicious behaviour to your area marshal, security or police.
- Police will conduct regular patrols of the campground, in addition to the presence of festival staff and security personnel.
- Further information can be found at www.splendourinthegrass.com
