The KidzKlub
Exciting for children….relaxing for parents…..a place which was described last year as a “magical oasis”. There is an entire field allocated to our little festival goers and their parents. This mini festival will be in a fully fenced area designed soley for parents and children to relax, play and unleash their creative spirit. There will be a crèche, an art/craft tent, a large sandpit, clown school, facepainting, a dressup theatre, drummers, performers, there will be storytellers, and musicians to amuse and entertain, there will be quiet areas to unwind and an active zone to challenge the sportiest of children.
It is important to note that all our daytime facilities and services require parents to remain within the KidzKlub Area supervising their own children.
The KidzKlub Staff are provided only to entertain and facilitate activities.
From 6pm – 12am there is a crèche facility available and private babysitters can be arranged prior to the festival for daytime care and for any children under 3 at night. For more info on our babysitting service see below….
Child Protection
Byron Bay Kidz Klub prides themselves in offering premium quality care which in a festival situation extends way past basic needs. Due to the nature of such a large event many child protection and ethical issues need to be addressed. The following strategies will ensure safety and wellbeing for all children and adults using our facilities.
A Security Guard is present at all times during the day and night.
A full risk assessment and a safety inspection of The KidzKlub area has been conducted by a senior childcare specialist before the commencement of the festival and during the festival OHS is continuously monitored and maintained.
The KidzKlub Area is fully fenced with only a small entrance opening during the day.
At night from 6pm the entrance opening is gated and only parents with children in the crèche can enter.
All KidzKlub staff have had the appropriate “Working With Children” background checks completed.
The KidzKlub Area is for children and their Parents Only, only a selected few adults without children will be permitted to briefly enter the children’s area to view it’s wonders.
If you have any Questions regarding The KidzKlub Area and the services we provide please go to www.kidzklub.com.au and contact us via email.
