CAMPGROUND VEHICLE ENTRY PASS - CONDITIONS OF SALE & ENTRY
Please be aware that upon purchase of your Vehicle Entry Pass you accept the terms and conditions listed below:
- It is a condition of Splendour In The Grass 2011 that you must pre-purchase a Vehicle Entry Pass to gain entry to Woodfordia in a private vehicle. This includes hire vehicles.
- You must arrive on the day assigned on your pass or your vehicle will be denied entry to Woodfordia.
- Ensure that the type of pass and details printed on your pass are correct.
- Vehicle pass applies to one vehicle only. Passes are not re-usable on more than one vehicle and must not be altered. Such actions will render the pass null and void and may result in you being refused admission to the festival and campgrounds.
- Vehicle Entry Pass is valid until 5pm Monday 1 August by which time all private vehicles must depart Woodfordia.
- Treat your Vehicle Entry Pass like cash, as tickets are sold on a strict no refund, no exchange, and no replacement basis. Tickets are refunded under the relevant laws that protect the organizer, the venue & ticket purchaser. A change in your personal plans or circumstances does not warrant a refund.
- Your Vehicle Entry Pass must be placed on the driver’s side dashboard of your vehicle.
- The pass should be positioned so that it is clearly visible from the exterior of the car but does not obstruct the driver’s vision.
- Car Pass needs to be in position well before the town of Woodford or other approaches within 10km as it will need to be seen by police and traffic controllers as you approach Woodfordia.
- 10. Pass contains a barcode that will be scanned upon arrival. Do not damage or tamper with this barcode or your entry may be delayed or denied.
- Vehicle Entry Pass is only applicable for private use vehicles. It is not valid for taxis, trucks, buses or commercial mini-buses.
- 1Once your vehicle is parked at your campsite, it is not permitted to be moved again until you depart the festival.
- The Vehicle Entry Pass does not include entry to Splendour In the Grass festival or entitlement to camping. Each occupant of a vehicle entering the Woodfordia campground must also hold a Splendour in the Grass Event-Camping Ticket.
- Vehicle Entry Passes may not, without the prior written consent of Splendour In the Grass Pty Ltd, be resold at a premium or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services. If a pass is sold or used in breach of this condition, the bearer of the ticket will be refused admission.
Car Pass Refund System
- Each vehicle with 3 or more passengers holding un-scanned event-camping tickets will be entitled to a refund voucher to the value of $30.
- The voucher can be redeemed for cash at a Car Pass Voucher Redemption booth inside the festival.
- Passengers who have already been wristbanded or who offer previously scanned tickets will not be counted as eligible passengers for the purposes of this refund system.
- Attempts to fraudulently obtain or qualify for refund vouchers may result in offenders and/or the vehicle being refused entry to the festival.
- Passengers moving between vehicles unnecessarily at the Refund Voucher processing point may result in those vehicles being ruled ineligible for the refund system.
- Refund vouchers will be issued upon vehicle entry.
- Refund vouchers will not be replaced if lost or damaged.
- Refund vouchers must be redeemed at the festival by 5pm Saturday 30 July, 2011. Refund vouchers are not valid after that time.
- The decision of Splendour in the Grass staff will be final and no arguments or debate will be entered into.
- Any vehicle causing delays to the free movement of vehicles into the Woodfordia campgrounds may result in that vehicle and its occupants being refused entry to the campgrounds and the festival.
- Vehicles parking in festival carparks do not qualify for Car Entry Pass refunds.
- Vehicles driven by guests (complimentary ticketholders) do not qualify for refunds.
