EVENT-CAMPING TICKET - CONDITIONS OF SALE & ENTRY        

This ticket is sold or given on the express condition that the holder is bound by the rules & regulations issued by the organisers. By purchasing this ticket you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions contained herein, and as further outlined on the accompanying information page or on the Splendour in the Grass website or booking forms.           

Campgrounds open from 7am Wed 27 July until 5pm Mon 1 August.

Camping-Event ticketholders arriving in private vehicles will need a Vehicle Access Pass to enter the property.

The festival entertainment area opens from from 9am Thurs 28 July and closes 5pm Mon 1 August.

  • Ticketholders MUST show Photo ID at the festival entrance bearing the same name and date of birth details as those printed on their ticket.
  • Vehicles entering the campground or car parks must have pre-purchased a Vehicle Access Pass from moshtix.com.au. Pass must be displayed as per terms and conditions printed on the pass or as detailed on www.splendourinthegrass.com. Any vehicles entering the campground with a valid Vehicle Access Pass and 3 or more ticketholders travelling in the vehicle will be entitled to a full refund on the purchase price of the pass. Refunds are redeemable within the event site at the designated location specified on the festival map. Full terms and conditions will be displayed on Vehicle Access Passes.
  • Vehicles, once parked at a campsite, cannot be moved until the end of the festival.
  • Tickets are non-exchangeable and non-transferable - you cannot pass it on to someone else.
  • No refunds on tickets except as required by &/or specified by the Entertainment Industry Code of Fair Practice. Incorrect purchases DO NOT qualify for a refund. However, a ticket resale facility will be offered via moshtix.com.au from Thurs 26 May until Mon 25 July 2011. Seller cannot nominate a purchaser. Funds (less $20 admin fee & booking fees) will be credited to seller’s account when ticket is re-purchased by another party.
  • Do not share your ticket barcode with anyone else or you may be denied entry. Organiser reserves the right to deny admission to the bearer of any ticket that appears to have been tampered with.
  • Upon entry, your ticket will be exchanged for a wristband that you MUST keep on for the duration of the event.
  • Anyone entering the site without a valid wristband will be deemed to have trespassed and will be handed over to the Police for charging. They will go before a magistrate and face up to $2,000 in fines.
  • Minors (those under 18), must be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged over 25 years at all times (within reason) in the campground and festival entertainment area. A parent/guardian may accompany a maximum of 3 minors. Parents/guardians must enter the festival at the same time as minors in their company. Minors must abide by the festival’s Youth Policy as detailed at www.splendourinthegrass.com
  • Campground/carparks are NO ALCOHOL ZONES. Vehicles and gear will be searched for alcohol. Any alcohol found will be confiscated and will not be returned.
  • Bags & containers will be searched at the entry to the entertainment area. No glass, weapons, milk crates etc allowed. A full list of banned items can be seen at www.splendourinthegrass.com.
  • The entertainment area is licensed - patrons wishing to consume alcohol must have photographic ID. Anyone found supplying or buying alcohol for a minor will be evicted from the event & may face criminal charges. Any minor found consuming or in possession of alcohol will face similar action.
  • Possession, sale or use of illegal drugs or illicit substances is strictly prohibited. SITG does not condone or endorse use of such substances and any persons found with them in their possession will be removed from the site and will be the subject of police action.
  • Right of admission is reserved.
  • Fires are NOT permitted. This includes fire twirling. Anyone lighting a fire will be ejected from the festival.
  • Covered gas cookers only permitted in the campground. Fire Marshals will be checking your setup to ensure safety.
  • Fireworks are prohibited. Anyone possessing them will be removed from the site.
  • Animals are prohibited, except for guide dogs, police dogs, medical companion animals and animals used for security related purposes.
  • Footwear must be worn.
  • Small still cameras are permitted but audio or video recording devices and professional still cameras are not.
  • All ticket holders consent to any official filming & sound recording.    
  • Right is reserved to vary programs and/or to add, withdraw or substitute artists. No refunds or compensation will be made should the program vary due to the non-appearance of an advertised artist.
  • Promoter or venue shall not be held liable for any loss, injury or damages sustained entering or on the site.
  • Activities such as moshing, crowd surfing, climbing and stage diving are dangerous to yourself and others. Promoter accepts no liability for any injuries or damages caused by these activities. Patrons engaging in these or other dangerous activities will be removed from the site.
  • Patrons must not cause damage to, improperly use or tamper with any public facility or festival infrastructure. Nor should they remove or attempt to remove any item or object from the venue or surrounding area.
  • Patrons must not cause any damage to flora and fauna on or surrounding the venue or enter any onsite bodies of water.
  • Patrons will be removed from the site if they behave in a threatening or inappropriate manner (aggressive, riotous, abusive, or insulting actions) towards other patrons or event staff.
  • Tickets may not, without the prior written consent of Splendour In the Grass Pty Ltd, be resold at a premium or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services. If a ticket is sold or used in breach of this condition, the bearer of the ticket will be refused admission.
  • Splendour In the Grass will proceed irrespective of weather conditions.
